Is it really free?
Yes. I'd rather have you using it than paying. You bring your own AI assistant on your own plan.
Do I have to use Claude Code?
No. Claude Code is what I recommend, since it's where Present was built and tested and where the workflow installs itself as a /present command. The bundle also follows the AGENTS.md convention, so Codex, Cursor, Copilot and other assistants read the same instructions and do the same job. Use whichever you already have.
I'm not a developer. Can I run this?
Yes. The setup wizard is built for people who don't live in a terminal. If you get stuck, the chat gives you copy-paste commands for your OS.
How long does the setup assistant stay open?
72 hours from download, 50 messages max. That's a hard cap so I can keep offering it free. For anything after setup, use your own AI assistant directly.
Can I use my company laptop?
If you can install an AI coding assistant and Python, yes. Nothing else phones home from Present itself.
What if I lose the setup link?
Download Present again with the same email and a fresh setup session opens.
What if I want someone to build the whole thing with me?
