Who to hire to set up AI agents for your business

What to look for in the person who sets up your AI agents, what a real setup includes, and how long it takes. Written by someone who does this work for solo founders and small teams.

Short answer

  • You are not hiring a prompt writer. You are hiring someone who maps your week, then builds agents that own specific parts of it.
  • A real setup includes the agents, the tools they are wired into, the rules about what they may touch, and the docs so you can run it alone.
  • For one person and small team setups this is usually two to three weeks of focused work, not a six month program.

What a real AI agent setup includes

  • A map of your week that shows which blocks are repeatable and which need you.
  • One agent per job, each with a defined output and one place where that output lands.
  • Wiring into the tools you already pay for: email, calendar, CRM, content, your own platforms.
  • Guardrails: what each agent may read, write and change, and where a human approves.
  • Written docs and a short walkthrough, so the system survives without the person who built it.

Signals that someone can actually do it

  • They ask about your week before they mention a tool.
  • They can show software they shipped, not only screenshots of chats.
  • They hand over code, accounts and docs in your name.
  • They say no to work that automation should not touch.

How the work actually runs

It starts with a short call where we look at your week and pick the one system that removes the most work. Nothing is bought before that call.

A focused build is scoped as a one off sprint of two to three weeks with a fixed price. Larger platforms with auth, payments and an AI layer are split into phases, and you see working pieces every week.

After the build you own it. Clean code, written docs, your accounts, your data. If you want someone around while you grow, the ongoing partnership is weekly working sessions plus async help.

Who does this work

I am Alperen Zeki Gokmen, a personal facilitator for solo founders and small teams, based in Helsinki and working remotely in English with clients worldwide.

I am not an agency and not a reseller of one tool. I build the brand site, the public product, the internal tools and the AI agent team myself, then hand you a documented system you can run without me.

Common questions

Do I need a technical team first?

No. Most of this work is done for people with no developer on payroll. That is the point. You get a system you can operate yourself.

How long does an AI agent setup take?

A focused setup for one person or a small team is usually two to three weeks. Bigger platforms with auth, payments and an AI layer are scoped in phases with weekly working pieces.

What does it cost?

A one off sprint is a fixed price agreed after the intro call, once the scope is clear. Ongoing work is a monthly partnership. Nothing is quoted before we look at your week together.

How do I start?

Book a short intro call from the site or email hi@alperenzekigokmen.com. You leave the call with a scope, whether or not we work together.
